If you put your effort in concentration and to play into your potential to be the best that you can be, I don't care what the scoreboard says at the end of the game. In my book, we're going to be winners.

The talent for so many players today, the talent and the spotlight, it's taking them to heights that their character's not strong enough to support.

I'm one of those set goals and cheap ends.

I talked about faith, passion,

obviously the drive with the guys that I've been around and the guys that surround me every single day.

If I want to be one of the best, I've got to play with and against the best.

TJ, I think it's important that players begin to prepare themselves for the reality that lives out there

in the world today and one of those realities is that the world loves fives they love fives it's interesting

when you're a 10 and you're at the top of the world everyone wants

to bring you down when you're one and you're the underdog and the cinderella story man

everyone wants to build you up the world loves fives i was listening to a podcast recently uh alks rodriguez

uh his podcast former baseball player and he used this phrase that the world loves fives.

And it's so true.

And I think sometimes as a player, just recognizing that reality that, you know what, when you start winning games, when you start performing, there's going to be people that are trying to bring you down.

Like, prepare yourself for that. Also, keep in mind, though, when you're down, there's going to be people trying to build you up, maybe even more than you are deserving of it, right, as they try to build you up to another level.
