If you put your effort and concentration and to play into your potential to be the best that you can be, I don't care what the scoreboard says at the end of the game. In my book, we're going to be winners.

The talent for so many players today, the talent and the spotlight, it's taking them to heights that their character's not strong enough to support.

I'm one of those set goals achievements.

I talked about faith, passion, obviously the drive with the guys that I've been around

and the guys that surround me every single day.

If I want to be one of the best, I've got to play with and against the best.

Today, T.J, I'm here to go on record that I will happily trade my

five-star player for a four-star. I will. I will trade my five-star athlete, my five-star player that

everybody's talking about. I will trade that four-star if that four-star can raise everybody else's game up one star you know we we

often talk about these ratings these proverbial five stars and and that's just a term we're

going to use for this episode here but you know you take that elite player right you know coaches

always strive to have that elite player uh you know players always want to be that elite player

they want to be that five star you know but, keeping in mind, we're playing a team sport. Basketball is a team sport. And you had many of options along the way to play individual sports. You could have golfed, wrestled, ran track, swam, play tennis, all these different things, right? But you chose to play a team sport. You know, that was a

choice you consciously made. And because of that, you know, the number that we need to pay attention

to is what is the overall number, not just your individual number? So let's just say five stars

the top, DJ. And five players play at a time.

Five players, all a five star.

That would give you 25 stars at a time on the court.
