end-of-life bill, which is the first vote on

whether assisted dying should be legalized in nearly a decade.

a lot of people tell you we should learn from the experience of Canada, either because,

pro-assisted dying people say, since it was legalized in Canada, it's helped thousands of people, or because anti-assisted dying people say, the Canadian example shows the increasing popularity of people choosing their own deaths, and that's because there aren't enough guardrails in place.
