Great to be back with you, another week of play-by-play presented by our friends at The Advocate, another busy week that was, and another busy week that is coming up along with illustrious Kent Lowe.

I'm Chris Blair and Kent.

Pretty busy weekend. We'll start with football, number one, because the Tigers got to win, 34, 31. It was quite the battle. But, you know, weeks from now, we probably will just realize it was a W. And that's the most important thing. Of course, it was a great night. Really had a great atmosphere there at Tiger Stadium. They honored the most recent inductees to the LSU Athletic Hall of Fame. They had their ceremony on Friday, but then came back. We're honored on the field there in the first quarter. It's a great time. Great afternoon, great evening, and the Tigers get the win. What else do you want? No, and it doesn't matter whether you play Arkansas, November, or September.

It's always the same type of game, it seems, very close. I thought that we hung in there very well

when things weren't exactly going to par there very early in the game and stayed with them and got a few things that

have to be worked on. But in the end, as you say, the W is what will be remembered later on this

year. Yeah, it's amazing. Four straight years, this game's been decided by three points. You've

kind of feeling down the stretch there, especially in that final four minutes that it was probably going to be another three-point game. And as we said, the good news is LSU got the win. Jaden Daniels, by the way, back-to-back, co-offensive players of the week, according to the SEC. He's the first Tiger to do that since Harold Perkins Jr.ensively won back-to-back awards last season.

First offensive player for the Tigers to win back-to-back since you probably could guess it,

2019 and Joe Burrow.

But again, the Tigers moved to 2-0 and SEC play.

They'll travel to the Hamlet of Oxford this weekend, 5 o'clock kick.

Lane Kiffin and the rebels nursing their wounds after a lot of talk,

but unable to walk the walk in Tuscaloosa, Alabama got the win on Saturday.

But it'll be a home game.

It's a big game for Ole Miss.

Again, the Magnolia Trophy.

It's another one of those rivalry games, which again, I don't think I'm telling any secrets

here.

I think it means more to the rebels than it does LSU, but it's a chance to pick up another

conference win on the road when you're going to be on the road for the next two weeks.

So it's a pivotal game for the Tigers.
