Athletics, and as always, what's coming up up along with our producer Harrison Valentine behind the

ones and twos the illustrious Kent Lowe joins me here in the luxurious LSU gold studios and

Ken I guess we start no need to bury the headlines let's start with LSU now has three

Heisman trophy winners and Jaden Daniels is is the latest this past weekend in New York City to receive that

award after a really an incredible two-year career here at LSU, but certainly a lightning,

explosive performance in 2023.

It's an amazing hour plus on television watching all that because you're just waiting to see who

will get someone to cry first, Marty Smith or Holly Row.

And then you had the announcement at the end, and it was what every LSU fan was hoping for

and expecting Jane Daniels LSU fan was hoping for and expecting

Jane Daniels wins. It was close if you in the realm of Heisman voting you could

call it close but it was still the the results you wanted to see and I thought

Jaden did a great job with it.

All four finalists are pretty classy if you ask me and it was a good group there and

obviously Jaden's pretty good at selling raising gains too from that shift they all worked

up in New York looking at the crowd.

Yeah, he was pretty popular there in Times Square and you know it's interesting you mentioned the ceremony itself I really want to

give a shout out to Jaden and those whether he did it by himself or he had some help preparing I thought

his acceptance speech was structured just in a tremendous way. And I tell you what

got me in the field, so to speak, Ken, was that he took the time to think just about anybody
