I'm Chris Blair.

And we're going to, in this first segment, kind of update you on what's happening for LSU athletics this past week and certainly what's coming up this week. And then later on, we're going to talk LSU in Alabama with Michael Bonnet. He will be our guest in just a bit. But Kent, let's start with, well, again, football was off. Let's start with LSU volleyball, whose season is coming down the wire.

Several key matches still upcoming.

Coach Johnson and Company, 9 and 11, 4 and 6 in conference,

with some games with an opportunity to get above 500.

Before the end of the regular season.

They'll have two opportunities coming up this week.

That's right.

They'll be at Ole Miss tomorrow night, Wednesday, and then at home on Sunday against Alabama,

they split on the weekend at home.

But even in the loss to Kentucky on Friday, I thought the effort was as good as we'd seen in a couple of weeks.

And they really played that continued over to Sunday when they swept South Carolina.

So I think this team is finding its groove again.

And they got a couple of matches this week that they could win,

get back to 500, and still a few more weeks left in the season after that.

So it was a good weekend, even though it was only a split.

I thought the play of the team was really good this past weekend.

Hopefully they can go out, still one on the road against Ole Miss, and then come back home

and continue their success against Alabama, which they had earlier in the year.
