Hey everybody, welcome in to another week of play-by-play, presented by our friends at The Advocate,

along with the illustrious Kent Lowe. I'm Chris Blair and Kent. We come off a weekend of good

action for the Tigers, and we head into a

monstrous week in college football as LSU is going to host Alabama, top 15 matchup,

LSU number 15, Alabama number six. Well, it's just Alabama, LSU. That's all you really need to say.

And then later on, we're going to talk with Michael Bonnet, who's going to visit us for a second time. And that means we might have a chance to be on in the spring. I mean, when we get repeat guests, I take that as a positive sign that our ratings are where they need to be. They should be with all we're doing on this show. But, no, it'll be great to have Michael with us. And yeah, I hear

there's a pretty important football game this weekend. Yeah, we'll talk to Michael and get in

depth about that a little bit later on. But let's start with LSU volleyball. I tell you,

it's one of the things I've enjoyed watching, especially with LSU's great social media,

is the joy on Coach Johnson's face the joy on the

volleyball players face I mean when they get a big win they're having fun and I know it helps when

you win but but they are really enjoying this season yeah they really are and uh kind of uh you know

it was one of those weeks where you're just kind of like oh that was so close

i mean they went five sets saturday night to win rallying to win the last couple of sets to win that

match in five and then sunday it goes five again, and this time Mississippi State got it,

there were some close spots, should have won the first set that, you know, Mike could

have gotten you out of there in four, but a tough loss. That's been, one thing is that they've

been able to win on Saturday and not be able to bring it home on Sunday.

But a good win Saturday, if they continue on now, win the matches they need to win, this is an NCAA tournament team come the 1st of December.

Again, Florida right now, atop the SEC standings, 10 and 2 are the Gators, 18 and 4 overall,

followed by Kentucky, who's always a contender for not only an SEC crown, but even a national

title.
