Well, Tiger fans, we are back.

I know you're probably surprised we were as well.

We got renewed for a second season here on Play-by-Play, presented by your friends at The Advocate.

And nobody more thrilled than the illustrious

Kent Lowe.

And this is kind of the show where we try to keep you up on what's happening with LSU

athletics, but as you can possibly understand, there's so much going on that we just, well,

we try, but we can't cover it all.

But it is mere weeks away from really starting the football season.

There are a ton of other teams for LSU that will get underway with competition here in the month of August.

So, Ken, I know even though you were down in the islands and join yourself with the basketball team,

you kind of whipped Harris and I together and said, hey, guys, we've got to get going.

We've got to start this show.

So we are starting today, thanks to your tutelage.

I'm as shocked as you are that we were actually allowed back in the studio for a second season.

But I guess when we finished in the top three in the LSWA podcast contest, suddenly they were calling going, okay, you can do another year.

I think because they have such a good deal with us, like we have such a good financial situation

that they had no choice but to bring us back.

Well, that's fair.

And before we begin, I should say congratulations on winning play-by-play, college play-by-play of the year.

You get an assist because you always remind me when to turn that stuff in. So thank you.

Your entry was a no-brainer. And it's amazing. The overtime in the Alabama game was the perfect link to submit so we were able to submit the whole thing.
