Welcome back in Tiger fans, another week of play-by-play, brought to you by our friends at the Advocate.

Good to see you again, Ken, as we head into another week.

You know, a little bit of a dead week.

It's exam week.

The SEC title football game now finished this past Saturday.

Of course, we'll talk about where the Tigers are headed for the bowl season.

But right now, it's kind of a concentration on basketball.

While there's no games this week, they're getting ready for two pretty big

matchups. The women's will be at home taking on New Orleans and LSU for the second straight

year taking part in holiday hoopsgiving. Going to take on always tough out of the ACC

Wake Forest. Yeah, that's right. LSU coming off a good win in their first true road

appearance Sunday at Tulane.

And again, another in-state opponent this coming Sunday.

The Ben coming off a four-point win over Texas Arlington.

Almost a similar game in some respects, Chris, to the Wofford game, and that they

were up, fell behind this time instead of four minutes to go, there were six minutes to go,

fell behind by four, but then when it came to winning time, the suspects that were in the game at the end of the Wofford game were in the game again

and went on a 14 to 2 run to take an eight-point lead and pretty much put the game away at that point.

But it was good to see the team respond, clamp down on defense at the end, and make

some key shots. And the women found themselves in a three-point game going to the last

quarter and were able to expand the lead and play well to win that one.
