It's another week of play-by-play, presented by our friends at the Abigant,

where we try to give you the very latest in what's happening here,

a busy, busy place in LSU athletics, along with the illustrious Kent Lowe.

I'm Chris Blair and Kent, here we go, football week number one.

We had week zero for several schools and to get a little taste of college football.

But coming up later, Gordy Rush is going to join us.

We'll talk a little bit of LSU, FSU, top 10 matchup, marking matchup next Sunday night.

So LSU football is about to come our way.

But let's start talking about the teams who already have games and wins under their belt.

And we'll start with LSU soccer, Coach Sean Hudson and company, a three match win streak,

so to speak.

And big win last week, upset number nine, Texas at the time in Austin.

And it's interesting, the first show this season, we talked about, you know,

maybe the offense in that opener against South Florida just wasn't clicking.

Since then, they've been putting up some goals.

Oh, no doubt about it.

I mean, they were up three nothing against the longhorns, which I know upset no one over here, and win that match

three to one, and then come back out Sunday afternoon and defeat Southern 5-0 was that final and just a great run right now.

This team really seems to be clicking and getting their act together at an appropriate time.

You've got a big game coming up Thursday night at Wisconsin before they come back home. But that win at Texas,

Texas is parental a top 25 team in soccer. And so this is a, that's a big program statement
