Hello, everybody. Welcome to Relax with Animal Facts. I am Steph Wolf and I'm here today to learn with you about our furry, scaly, or possibly even slimy friends. And today's a very special episode because it is dedicated to Nigel.

Nigel wrote into the show a few days ago requesting the platypus. So this episode is dedicated to you out there. And if you would like to

have your animal on the show, if you would like to request an animal, you can go to relax with

animal facts.com. Click the animal requests tab. You can do this on your mobile device, your tablet,

your computer. Go ahead and send in your request. And of course, if there's enough

information, it will most likely end up on the show. Don't be shy. If you don't want to shout out,

you absolutely don't have to have one. You can just put a fake name if you'd like. But I'm sure that

everybody out there listening to the show is interested in the animal that you are interested in as well. I would like to hear

your feedback. So thank you so much. So before we get into the show, the first thing I have to do,

thank you out there. You guys, you pointed out that I made a mistake in the frog episode,

not to do with the frog, but rather to do with the flamingo that I mentioned.

So, as you know, I've done a flamingo episode. If you haven't listened to that, you're very

welcome to do so. But I mentioned that the flamingo is a large flightless bird, which is wrong.

I don't know where that came from because in the flamingo episode we talked about how they

are able to fly.

But it slipped out.

I said that flamingos are a large flightless bird.

That is incorrect.

I must have had penguins on the mind.

So they are large birds, but they can fly. They indeed can fly. Pinguins can't. And I don't know if that's possibly what I was thinking about. But anyways, if you hear something on the show that you think is wrong or you know is wrong, maybe you know it's a fact that's outdated or just

something i said was just straight wrong you can always send me uh feedback on that same platform
