plants that you have to light indoors and how you might do that. You know, certainly there are some low light plants that will do just fine with the ambient light in,

honestly, most rooms that aren't just pitch black. And I'm thinking of things like a ZZ plant or just plants you can almost ignore and they're going to be completely fine,

but there are a ton of plants that are going to need lighting in order to do well or even grow at all.

So we're kind of splitting this into a couple different

categories and I'm just going to let Leslie go to town on it. So Leslie you've got

sort of a couple of different categories of plants that you have to light and how you might go about lighting them, right?

Well, I'm going to challenge you first on your comment there about ZZ plants in San

Siberia because I kill many in my house.

Wait, have you killed killed this easy plant?

Oh, heck yeah, my house is so dark.

And so, you know, so when people talk about plants that will tolerate super low light conditions,

the thing everybody has to understand is that low light conditions. The thing everybody has to

understand is that low light is not equal. Right. In everybody's homes. Corners eat

light, pocket windows eat light. And so you might be surprised at how dark some of your spaces that

you think are sort of bright enough for plants like ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZI or

San Severia I can kill them all day long in my house so you know it's interesting but they're good

indicator plants so you kind of can kind of use them in that way to see sort of

how dark is just really too dark. If that plant's suffering,

you definitely grow light,
