All right. First Corinthians chapter three, verse five. First Corinthians chapter three, verse five.

What then is Apollos? What is Paul? They are servants through whom you believed, and each has the role the Lord has given.

I planted Apollos watered, but God gave the growth.

So then neither the one who plants nor the one who waters is anything, but only God

who gives the growth.

Now, he who plants and he who waters are one, and each will receive his own reward

according to his own labor.

For we are God's coworkers.

You are God's field, God's building.

I want to talk to you today about being a servant of God. All of us as Christians are servants of God.

Amen. Amen. There's these guys in the Bible in Genesis chapter 4. I want you to go there,

put your bookmark there, put a post-it there, keep your finger on it, because

we're going to come back to this later. But Genesis chapter four, you'll see two guys,

Adam and E, there we go, not Adam and Steve, Adam and Eve. That was for free. But there's

actually two other guys there, Kane and Abel, okay. And these are the children of Adam and Eve.

And Abel does something to his older brother, Kane, that really ticks off Kane and thus

gives us the first murder in the Bible. Okay, we're only four chapters in, and we get a murder. Okay,

talk about a good book. And the Bible's not just a book,

isn't it? It's a collection. It's a small library of 66 books. In the first book of the Bible,

four chapters in, we get a murder. And it was unlike any other murder because what Abel did

didn't really deserve a murder. You know, you know, some people would argue murders really

never deserved. Killing is something different, but the Bible tells us, do not murder. Thou shall not
