And you know, we've been talking this week about kind of a natural

progression of beginners knowledge right and so yesterday we talked about

starting plants from seed and today we're gonna say okay well you successfully

started your plants it's it's time to get them into the garden.

Actually, that does bring me to my first question,

If I'm starting my seeds for the first time,

how do I actually know when is the right time to put them into the garden?

Ah, you have to make sure that one thing that's sort of fun about seeds is their very first two leaves, their little seedling leaves are don't even often

look like the final leaf of that plant and you have to kind of what you have to wait for that plant to

show you some good strong shoots you know we're talking about the roots and

the shoots earlier so once you see some like good shoots coming up like extra leaves the true leaves are starting to form there's more sort of sprouts are getting to be you know like a couple inches tall and it's really sort of growing

healthy and vigorous, that's when you know that you have a good root system down
