0:35.6	The National Mall here stretches out in front of us with monument after a monument to American

0:42.1	There are 19 Smithsonian museums in Washington, D.C., 19.
0:48.2	And every single one of them is designed to help us understand history and science and art
0:52.8	and culture. Every single one of them tells the story of who we are and how we got here.
0:58.0	So there's the Air and Space Museum that shows us
1:01.0	Humanity's Journey to the Stars and there's the National History Museum
1:05.0	that helps us understand the world we live in.
1:07.0	But this museum, this is the Museum of the Bible, and this one's different.
1:12.6	Because this museum is built around a book.
1:15.6	And listen, not just any book.
1:18.6	The most controversial, most influential, most significant book in human history.
1:24.6	When we talk about the Bible, we're really not talking about one book.
1:29.3	Really, we're talking about 66 different books
1:33.3	written by more than 40 different authors over a period of 1,600 years
