super league. The backlash from fans, governing bodies and even world leaders were swift and

the plan disintegrated.

Now it could be revived after Europe's top court ruled that UAFA and FIFA

were wrong to try to block it.

The firm behind the Super League has already announced plans for new European breakaway tournaments involving

64 men's teams and 32 women's teams.

Its CEO, Burnt Rykart, said the ruling had opened the door to innovation.
