Summary

A recap on where to get good advice and what to watch out for. Unfortunately, my industry still has too many short sighted individuals. What I mean by this statement is that there are a lot of advisors, brokers, agents, and reps that are looking for the big score, and could care less about the long term financial health of their clients. My personal belief is that if you do good things for others it comes right back to you. Fortunately for me and my company most have not realized that you can make more long-term money by being good to your clients. last two weeks. I got to tell you, as we get closer to the holidays, especially in

0:24.3

the month of December, it gets tough to get to these podcasts that are on a

0:27.8

consistent basis, just because we get very busy here doing urine planning, as well

as everybody starts traveling. And that's one of the reasons I'm just going to let you

0:36.5

know that this will be the last podcast for 2007. Howdy's going on vacation? She will

0:43.4

be gone for about a week or so, and we're just not going to have time to get another

0:47.6

podcast show out there for you guys before the new year. So I just wanted to go

0:51.8

ahead and throw that out there so you'd know why in the world we were not

0:55.6

hearing the money guys much as you were hearing in the past. It's just because we're

0:59.0

taking a little time, catching a little breather for the holidays. Then we'll kick

1:02.3

it off in January of 2007, just as hard as we did in the beginning of 2006 and

1:07.0

throughout 2006. Today's topic, and then we'll get off on some sidebar

1:11.6

items. But just to let you know what today's financial chaos topic is planning

well and avoiding the sharks. Remember the whole purpose of the money guy podcast is

1:20.6

to help you restore order to your financial chaos. My name is Brian Preston. I am
