Jasmin started AND finished the Namu Cowl by Knitboop out of Lisa Souza Cashmere in

"squashblossom" (#MyRhineBIPOCSweater Join the Ravelry Group! , #BIPOCMAL2019). Jasmin

mentions the  #BIPOCMAL2019, which started in September and ends in November.

She loves Knitcompanion

There is a dopamine response that we get from checking off a completed task; I couldn't find a technical term for the specific instance.

Gigi made more hexagons for the Polygon blanket.

 

Jasmin is nearly finished with her Polwarth pullover.

And the Cottongrass pullover is done.


Gigi  worked on the  Regia Pairfect .

In Gigi's sewing class at Cañada College, she got the muslin for her skirt fitted; next step is the waistband.  

Also, got started on the bodice 

 

Couture Embellishments class at West Valley College continues. 

Gigi turned in smocking and cartridge pleating samples.  

Working on beading and sequin Techniques 

The midterm project is supposed to be Embellishment and rejuvenation of something out of the closet;

the final is supposed to be sewn from scratch 

We are supposed to hand in a project plan, a description of what we are planning, I think that time and

cost estimates are supposed to be included.

Since last week, podcasted, I have both started and finished my Namo Cowl by Knit Boop,

out of Lisa Suza's worst-to-weight cashmere in the squash blossom colorway.

I would like to expand on how virtuous this cashmere cowl was because I bought the yarn years ago.

Years ago, and I spent my Thursday looking for the yarn because I saw the pattern,

and I kept, I was rolling around in my head what I wanted to make it out of because it's worst-to-weight,

and you can do it in two lengths. There's a shorter length cowl, which is a one-wrap cowl,

and the longer length cowl, which is a two-length one, and I wasn't sure how much I had.

I knew I had two balls of the cashmere, I knew I had already wound them.

I headed earmarked for a different thing that I was excited about, but not this excited.
