I thought this was fascinating.

I was listening to a physicist, astrophysicist, something something or other specialist guy from a fancy college

talking about a life on other planets.

And he made the point that we could have had a successful civilization on planet Earth

a hundred million years ago that lasted thousands of years that had computers

and cars and whatever else.
