What do you need to know about the movie Plain?

Well, there's a plane.

Specifically, there's a plane that goes down when it's struck by lightning and ends up

on the worst possible island.

It's then up to a captain, played by Gerard Butler and passengers, to survive without

the plane until they can get back to the plane.

Plain stars Gerard Butler as Brody Torrance, a widowed pilot.

And by the way, this time Gerard Butler is Scottish.

He gets to be Scottish in this movie.

He's a widowed pilot trying to get home to his teenage daughter on New Year's Eve.

Unfortunately, he runs into a storm and all he can do is crash land on a tiny island

in the South China Sea.

But this is not just any island.
