Welcome to our Monday's broadcast of the Gospel Truth. Again this week, I'm sharing a very special set of programs.

And I'm emphasizing how important the Word of God is to you. And last week, I shared that the Lord just really impressed it on me to encourage people to read through the Bible in one year.

I know that most of you watching this program say, oh yeah, I believe that the Bible is a Word of God. I believe it's important for me to study.

And yet the average person doesn't really do it. And they certainly don't do it on an systematic, consistent basis.

And so I've got this little Bible reading plan that you can read through the Bible in one year.

We've also got it in PDF form on our website. And I've also got a place on our website where I'm encouraging people to just make it commitment to read.

It's not like something bad is going to happen to you if you don't do it. It's not like we're going to call you up and say, are you reading the Bible?

We just want you to make a commitment. And I would love to see hundreds of thousands of people from all over the world right in and commit to doing that.

So this is a freebie to you. And then we're also offering my teaching on effortless change.

And then I've got a brand new teaching entitled Plain is Dirt.

And if you haven't heard the teachings this last week, that Plain is Dirt isn't going to mean much to you, but that is powerful.

It's just another way of emphasizing how important the Word of God is to you.

So I want to go back to Mark chapter 4 and look at a parable that Jesus taught called the Sower Soes the Word.

And this is something that the Lord used to just radically change my life. This has really been a foundational truth in my life.

And so the parable is that, you know, a man went out to the so seed and they didn't dig furrows and plant seeds, space them the way that we do today.

They would just take seed and throw it like this. And it would land on whatever kind of ground it landed on.

And so the parable was that there was four different types of ground, the man threw the seed on.

The first one was a place where people had been walking in the ground was so hard packed that it never penetrated the ground.
