Some of you have heard me say this before,

but you know, I just feel like every time I hear that song,

I need to just give thanks to God but that was my

father's favorite song and at his funeral which was 60 years ago this last May

I was 12 years old and this is when they had an open casket, you know, and my

I was sitting just a few feet away from my father's casket and they were singing that song about how great thou art and

it just didn't seem like God was great because I prayed for my dad to be healed

and he went ahead and died and I was devastated by it and I remember just praying and saying

God if you're great then reveal yourself to me what is my purpose in life? I was 12 years old and it was six

years later when I was 18 that God just showed up in a miraculous fashion and I mean

he transformed my life in an instance.

He just lit a fire on the inside of me.

I wrote this little 25-page booklet entitled My Appointment with God. I just felt impressed to do that back in

May of this year and I sat down and in just a couple of minutes wrote this 25 page booklet about that and it's a gift.
