Our case is this week. A tragic miscarriage of justice. On a case that we have been following

on this podcast, remember the woman who was decapitated on a public street by her abusive

ex-boyfriend, a crime that was witnessed by so many innocent bystanders? Well, he was rightfully

convicted of her murder. And now, that same man has been found not guilty by reason of mental illness

by a judge. How is this justice? But first, it's the arrest everyone is obsessed with. The family

man and successful architect from New York, who has been arrested and charged with three murders

in the Gilgo Beach area of Long Island. Police say the suspected killer was living a double life

using burner phones to hook up with sex workers and escorts while his wife was away.

It's great to have you. We've got a series of cases here which are frustrating and honestly

bewildering, bewildering, you know, because I know we're going to get into the

the capitation case in a second. But it's extraordinary to me that the murder can be

clearly witnessed that the man was abusive for so long. Tormented this woman is found guilty.

And then the judge says, well, you know what? That's true, guilty. But you know, they're kind of

crazy. So I'm sorry, you know, we're reversing this. It's such an injustice.
