Hey brother! And welcome everyone to our spoiler review of Pixar's latest light year.

Oh man, definitely a very different movie

within the Pixar lineup where this one right out of the gate,

the very first thing that you see at all

is the fact that this is taking place inside of the

Pixar universe as a movie in the Pixar universe.

Right, it's a movie inside a movie. the first sentence you see is the

carlum brothers were right it's a movie in a movie

Pixar theory confirmed basically basically so it's very interesting to me that this is something that Pixar was willing and even wanted to clarify right out of the gate because I do feel like it is an indication to the idea that they were sort of like, we do need to figure out why and how it doesn't fit with everything else

which means they care about how it fits with everything else but beyond that as far

as like what we do in terms of theory crafting, in terms of continuing

the Pixar theory itself, it's a very unique one because it is like fiction within our fictional timeline.

Yeah, it's interesting to see how it like

recontextualizes the other characters.

Okay, the movie of Lightyear basically kicks off with a like galactic star cruiser of sorts that we've sort of seen in other versions of like

Sci-Fi space fiction. Yeah, which is to say that like the occupants of the ship have been put in some type of like hyper sleep, they're out in space for like adventure type discovery purposes.

But it seems like there is some sort of sensor that will wake up one of the space

rangers, namely Buzz, if the ship detects an upcoming planet that might contain intelligent life and if it does he can press the button
