But unsurprisingly, as a space movie that inches closer and closer to the BNL takeover and collapse of Earth that is just 85 years away from the time of this movie,

Elio rubs a lot of shoulders with Wally and shows us what role Elio himself may have had in the human's eventual departure and return to Earth,

and perhaps even more importantly, what happened while they were gone?

Like, did Elio just show us the origins of the cars?
