chucked their hand in and headed off for their summer holes on Thursday

and Laura Coonsberg and all their chums didn't fancy turning up for the politics show this morning.

nice to see you too simon um i've just got even less hair than I had for about 10 minutes ago, but we'll explain that later on.

Yeah.

So, Steve, we were obviously there with you guys on May the 4th, and it looked like it was a cracking night for the Lib Dems.

What do you put the success down to the fact that in local politics you seem to have done so well for so long?

Well, I think it's probably part of a national picture as well.

I was at the LGA conference week before last.

And when I was last at the evening leaders event in 2019, we had a couple of tables in a

restaurant, and this time we had the entire restaurant.
