Rob Friedman, Rob Friedman, of course, if you're on Twitter, you follow baseball. You know who Rob Freeman is. Rob, thank you for joining us today. I know we've gone through a little technical difficulty getting prep for you, so I appreciate your patience and obviously your time today. My pleasure. It's always fun to talk about Paul Skeens. It is fun to talk about Paul Skeens and look, we're going to spend all of our time doing that, no more banner. Let's jump right in. We have several clips of Paul pulled up here on the laptop. You're joining us via Zoom, so hopefully you can see this. And a lot of this is finishing pitches. And Rob, I really just want you to comment on what you're seeing from Paul Skeens. He's a transcendental player for LSU. We haven't had anyone like him. I was around when we had Aaron Nola and he was the best I'd ever seen at LSU. I wasn't around for Ben McDonald, but I've obviously heard that he's, you know, the greatest in LSU history. But Paul Skeens, man, he is special. And this one's from Tennessee, a finishing pitch in the seventh inning against Tennessee. Just tell me what

1:32.2

1:38.9

very tight slider, just filthy stuff. And it plays so well usually off his high, velo fastball. I mean, it's very hard for hitters, especially college hitters, but this is going to be the same way in the pros. When you're throwing, you know, upper 90s, a little over 100, people have to make decisions really fast. And when you throw a slider like that, it's tough. Yeah, I mean, here he is in the

2:01.2

seventh against Tennessee. You see the pitch count at 106. And LSU stretched him out a little bit this

2:05.3

year, ahead 02 and just frozen. And it kind of goes to what you say. You've got to make a decision

2:13.3

early and you're either deciding to lay off or swing.
