The French capital is a buzz with mixed martial artists ready to throw down on Saturday night at the Accor Arena.

It's going to be one hell of a show. The official weigh-ins are about to conclude.

We're just waiting for one more fighter to come through the scales but we thought we'd get stuck

into a reaction video because there is a big story already brewing with Lassani Kaita.

He was due to make his UFC debut tomorrow night, missing weight by three pounds and the fight

with Pitbull Ferrer has been called off.

It was the one that we were looking forward to the most.

Well, there's a lot to look forward to, but it was certainly one of the debuts that we were looking forward to most.

Massive opportunity for Kater, going up against Pitball, who is ranked now, of course.

Hugely disappointing for him you

know this is a guy that okay he has competed in two weight divisions and was a

two weight division over at the octagon promotion but he's come to the UFC

he's opted to go in the lighter weight division obviously for you know for

Maxwell physical benefits and he's failed to make weight you know you know the way

I am at him if it's a pound or half a pound, that's missing weight. Three pounds off, you know, is... 146, yeah, he hit 149. 149, that's three pounds off 146. That's failing to make weight. That's failing to make weight for me. Whatever he's done, whatever his team has done this week, it hasn't worked. The timing's been wrong. The weight cut obviously has backfired on them. And I feel for the lad because this was a, out of all of debutsants on the card, this was the debutant with the biggest opportunity. One win, and he's ranked in the UFC. Yeah. And I'd be absolutely kicking himself backstage. No use yet.

I think it was the medical team that pulled him.

Yeah.

But if I was Pitball, I'd also be a bit like, wait a minute, you were feeding me to a debutant. I'm a rank fighter now. You flew me all the way to Paris. Now you expect me to fight a guy three pounds overweight. maybe even Pit Paul's team and nah not for us yeah and no official word on the reason as to

why it's been poor but like you've just alluded to there it might have been well we're being told that it's the medical team backstage that I've looked at him at 149 pounds as listen he's not fit to fight it'd be interesting to see if it was put towards pit bull as to whether he wanted to or whether he didn't want to because he's in a tricky situation right now with his UFC career obviously he's only had two fights he hasn't looked amazing he's coming off the back of a win which was less than impressive this was a big night for him obviously taking on this debutant away from home away from a pay-per-view on a fight night in France which traveled all this way and they won't be throwing down for these fans. And I'm sure there's a lot of fans actually incredibly disappointed because Pitbull,
