And I was watching one of his Instagram reels this morning.

They're so witty. But he was discussing this Pisces full moon, and he used a Carl Young quote.

He said, the main purpose of organized religion is to protect people from a direct experience with God.

Let me repeat that.

Now, this isn't a pick on Christianity, Catholicism.

I have a lot of friends who beautifully devote their

faith to Christianity, and I think it's so cool. I love faith in anything. I love when people

have a direct connection to something that isn't able to be proven that they devote their life and their heart to. I think it's so beautiful.

A lot of people, and you know, rightfully so, I don't get offended by it. They think that I,

because I am a professional astrologer, that I must be anti-Christianity. And that's not the case

at all. I think it's beautiful to believe in anything. Just don't

push it onto people. And where Colin was going with this Carl Young quote is so often, and this

falls under spirituality too, right? So if I were to rewrite this Carl Jung quote, I would say the main purpose of organized

religion and organized spirituality is to protect people from a direct experience with God.
