Welcome to the Eurointelligence podcast. I'm Wolfgang Munchau and with me are Susanna Muncheng and Jack Smith. Today we would like to talk about Poland. Poland after the election. The opposition has won the election. Donald Tusk will, we presume, now form a government. The Law and Justice Party will go into opposition. Susanna, you wrote

There were at least not the things that we Europeans were hoping for, Brussels and the capital

cities. It's actually not a win because it's just to be clear, the elections, the PSP actually came first,

but they don't have enough votes because they will have to build a coalition.

And the coalition partner performed worse.

It's a nationalist confederation group that didn't get enough votes, much less than predicted in the polls.
