Hello, it's Danny Howard here and every week on Radio 1's dance party, I bring you a brand new mini-mix.

It's a five-minute mix where our favourite artists can flex their muscles and show us what they've got.

This time around, it's all about a duo who've been really lighting up festivals and dance floors everywhere this year.

They are Peiri and Tommy,

and we've loved pretty much everything that they've released so far, from SoftSpot to Words to

more recently on and on, and they've got an incredible ability to make super hooky, catchy,

vibrant and just good dance music. For their mini-mix, they've chosen the theme,

lush chords and bad bass lines.

I mean, it's fair to say I'm in already.

They say themselves, they've chosen this theme, as they said in their opinion,

the tastiest dance tracks are also the funkiest, so we want it to highlight some of the sick

musicality you can find throughout dance music.

They reference artists like MJ Cole, Sammy Virgie, Sam Galatry and Higo, who are killing

it in the game and making hard box with extra sauce in the form of lush chords.
