What's going on in Orlando in December?

It seems like everyone has assembled into one place for the annual Major League Baseball

winter meetings. So I'm down here in sunny. Actually, it's not sunny. It's actually quite depressing

for a Florida day. Very cloudy. It's not what I was expecting, but still nice. It's not 10 degrees

in Pittsburgh like it is there so it's it's

quite cold it's my watch says 30 degrees right now and so you know it is what it is you know we'll

you know we just have to deal with that that comes to the territory here in Pittsburgh but uh

things are cold in Pittsburgh and it might not be as grand in Florida as it normally can be.

But at the same time, things are definitely heating up when it comes to the baseball's hot stove,

when it comes to all the free agency, trade talk, and the pirates are involved in that.

Now, big moves to be made that we haven't seen one just yet, but one of the guys that the pirates were in on did agree to terms or agree to a contract with the team that was Kyle Schwerber of course the pirates had consistently been talked about and he does not sign with the pirates after the pirates offered a pretty sizable contract to Schwerber but he just opts to stay with the Phillies five years, $150 million.

The pirates obviously were not willing to go to a fifth year or maybe not even given the option to offer a fifth year.

But what do you know about what the pirates did offer Kyle Schwerber?

And do you feel like that this could possibly lead to something else that

happens just because they didn't get this guy? Yeah, I mean, the offer was real. They were in on

them, which, you know, when this, when it was first reported that, you know, they were going to be

in on Kyle Schwerver, you know, I think everybody kind of thought, okay, well, you know, they were going to be in on Kyle Schwerber,

you know, I think everybody kind of thought, okay, well, you know, every team is going to be in on Kyle Schwerber. Like this, what does this mean? Like, this doesn't mean much. And I think as the

weeks and the days have gone by, you know, it's, it's been pretty obvious that the interest has been
