Summary
There are no stupid questions, just stupid people, and two of them are hosting this podcast! Thankfully if there is one thing they know better than most it’s best practices for new pipe smokers. Here we do our best to set you up on your pipe journey right with the spirit of mentorship and community that the Country Squire is renowned for. This week: Getting Started with $1,000!?
Pipe Question: (From Joshua) Hey John David. Was wondering if you already haven’t if you could explain semois pipe tobacco. Yeah have seen it several times and am intrigued. Joshua Warwick - Twin Falls, Idaho
QFQ: (From Pastor Joda) So, my brothers, I present to you “Will it Pipe Tobacco?” The concept is simple, I present a list of flavor profiles and you debate whether or not it would fly as a tobacco blend. It’s not necessarily you dump proposed flavor on the tobacco, though that may be the “case(ing)”. But if there is a way to deliver the flavor with some other form of Tobacco Alchemy, then that is acceptable as well. I realize you may find this idea quite lame and place it directly in the trash folder, if so, no problemo. Will it pipe tobacco?
• Maple and applewood smoked bacon
• Fireball Candy
• Juniper forward Gin
• Muscadine
• Basil
• Peanut butter and jelly
Listener Feedback: (From David) Greetings and Salutations JD and Beau! I am a relatively new listener, having discovered your podcast barely a month ago, while searching the google for information on corn cob pipe customization. I have been devouring your podcast episodes exclusively during my workday, It wasn’t until listening to an episode from just prior to New Years Eve, and you mentioned the new year being 2017 that I realized that I was listening to a 5+ year old episodes…(facepalm). I now listen to the most current episode that’s been released and then go back and continue catching up. I love the way you two interact with other and avoid “current events in the news”. It’s also refreshing that your podcast is not scrubbed of any reference of religion or being religious. It’s OK to love Jesus. I just listened to the episode discussing the history of the pipe cleaner. The nerd in me enjoyed it much more than I should have. I’ll check out the “How It’s Made” you mentioned being on YouTube this evening. I look forward to being able to support the show financially, but until then I’ll continue to enjoy it like those free pipe cleaners in your shop!

No, that's what you need, man. You got to do some fueling up on the coffee. It's, you know, I always often say that like, you know, whiskey is kind a podcast or fuel, but let's be real. Coffee. It just depends on the kind of day. It's either a coffee kind of fuel. It's a coffee kind of day. I have noticed myself over time getting more sensitive to caffeine and to nicotine too, which is interesting as a tobacconist, you know, my taste of, my tastes haven't really changed, but my |

Just to, you know, just try to accommodate the old body, make sure they'd last a little bit longer. Doesn't run like the 25 year old it used to be. Yeah. Yeah. and run like the 25-year-old. It should have been. It should have been. Right. Hey, that's fair. Well, bad, of course, we are here at Country Squire Radio and we are here because of the amazing support of our patrons over at patreon.com slash Country Squire Radio, the international pipe club, man. We are glad to welcome in a new member this week. Ladies and gentlemen, okay, y'all got to, y' some names to work with here, okay? We got writing with Dave. Now, here's the thing. I'm assuming that writing with Dave is the full name of writing with Dave. This is Mr. Dave, first name writing, middle name with. This is my assumption based on what we've got here. I think it's probably, I mean, generally when people write in, they're just copying what's on their version. That's exactly |
