How are you doing this week?

Man, I'm doing great.

Just the normal lamenting the fact that it's, you know, hot as the surface of the sun here in the deep south. that man yeah just covered up with humidity but not letting it get in the way of uh you know

having a good summer, man.

It's been a lot of fun, you know, crazy around the shop, lots of pipe smokers in and out,

looking for, you know, Father's Day gifts.

We've kind of had a Father's Day and now post Father's Day sale.

And so it's always funny.

Of course, we laughed before about all the folks

coming in that do their shopping for, quote unquote, dad, which generally means themselves.

But man, yeah, it's been, it's been great. All is good in the pipe world and in the John David

Cole world. We're just kind of wide open, you know, still working on nursery room for baby girl Cole, which is coming up soon. And yeah, man, things are exciting. What's happening with you in Houston, man? Oh, man. You know, you're right to comment on the weather here in the deep south. But it feels, though, like in Houston, it's even more humid than it wasn't Jackson. And, like, we're basically in the tropics. Like, this is, this is how my mindset has, uh, as, uh, processed the, the amount of humidity. Have I told you that I want to get a parrot? Hold on. Say that again. You want to get a parrot? Yeah. I was the, Yeah, I've been thinking about getting a parrot.

Is this like, is this a continuation of your pirate obsession or like is it, is it, does it come in a gift pack with like an iPad or something or like, how is this like, okay, just just, just do tell.

It's the first I've heard of this. No, I was thinking about getting a parrot. I've thought about it for some time. And I have not made a decision one way or the other, but I was thinking about it the other day. And we're in kind of basically the tropical climate in such years. Houston is. You know, it really, if it's not, it should be. I mean, it's right there on the border, right? And so's i mean like this is the natural uh habitat for uh for for for like a tropical bird and so i thought you know what i'll um i'm thinking i don't know i'm just thinking about it i'm thinking about it now everybody's going to start writing and saying do you know how loud they are and how long they live and yes i've done my research my research.
