| 0:20.6 | J.D. Hey, Bo. Good afternoon, man. Hey afternoon to you, too, sir. How are you doing today? I'm doing good. We're welcome back for another Country Squire Radio Plague edition. Weird. We're in the thick of it, man. And everyone's quarantined in their house. And, man, you know, we've got some essential folks |
| 0:38.5 | going to work and, man, some that are, you know, stuck around their home with, you know, babies |
| 0:43.7 | bouncing on their lap and, you know, playing a lot of video games, haven't showered in two or three |
| 0:48.4 | days. And, man, it's crazy, dude. A lot of pipe smokers are like, what are we doing? |
| 0:57.5 | So, yeah, man, it's interesting times we live in. It's a little nerve-wracking, a little scary, but also, you know, gives us a chance to reflect and, you know, kind of figure out what this life's all about. |
| 1:07.1 | So, yeah, interesting, interesting times, man. |
| 1:09.4 | How are you spending your plague disaster? Oh, stressed and depressed, my, interesting times, man. How are you spending your, uh, your, |
| 1:11.1 | your, your, your plague disaster? Oh, stressed and depressed, my friend. All the way through. Yeah. It's, uh, it's been, it's been rough. It has been rough. But I will say, you know, the, the time with the kids has been really, really great and, uh, and, and continues to be really great. I will say this though. I mean, I do feel like in this kind of, not to tip the bean can here, |
| 1:30.0 | but it is going to go a little bit into, into our episode this week, the topic and everything. But, you know, I've been trying to find things to do to, you know, just like enjoy, just try to find something, right? Like, like something that, like you can take advantage of the time. And again, you know, and for my lifestyle, it's not that much different. The make different for me is things are more busy for me right now than they would have been otherwise. So it's a weird juxtaposition from, you know, and I mean, you know this too, because of course, obviously y'all are juggling with the child care and everything else. But anyway, all that to say, so I've been trying to figure out, like, how can I find something, right, that I could do a little bit different. And so, you know what I did? What? I gave myself a Wolverine facial cut. No, you didn't, Bo. Yeah, I got the chops, man. I got the Wolverine chops. I don't believe that. Really? Yeah, yeah. Razor right from bottom to chin all the way up. Mustache is gone. I left the sole patch, but then I maintained the glorious chops. Oh, Bo. You know, we're not, we're on Zoom right now recording this episode, which, by the way, Zoom has skyrocketed in their stock price, you know, and just because with all the distance learning and everything. |
| 2:42.8 | But the reason I mention that is, you know, it has a feature where we can see each other. |
| 2:47.2 | I just, I just turned on the video. So if you want to see. |
| 3:01.6 | Oh, I just, I just turned on the video. So if you want to see, oh, oh, oh. It's different. Yeah. Yeah, that's, that's one way to live your life, |
| 3:07.1 | Bo. Yeah. There you go. Without the headphones, it's a little, uh, that's great. That's great. Looks a little bit better. |
| 3:08.1 | But anyway, so I thought I was like, what is something I would not do? How is life sleeping on the couch after this, right? No, it was at, you know, the funny thing is I told my wife, I was like, you know what? I'm thinking I'm going to try something. Nobody's like seeing everybody and everybody's quarantine and everything. I was like, I think I'm going to try something different with the beard with the facial hair. |
| 3:25.2 | And so I actually, I got like a grid. |
| 3:27.7 | You know how they have those like barbershop grids type deal? No, you didn't. I did. And I was like, what do you like? Like, what do you, what, you know, what works for you, so to speak? And, and she actually chose the Wolverine cut. And so I was like, all right, you know what? Let me go. Let's go. Man, that is, that is, that is amazing. |
