| 0:00.0 | This is Melissa K. Norris with pioneering today. |
| 0:04.1 | And we're going to be talking about gardening today. |
| 0:07.5 | And I know it's still in the middle of winter for most of us. |
| 0:11.3 | So it might kind of seem surprising. |
| 0:13.5 | But I wanted to talk about gardening today because a lot of what happens in the garden in the spring |
| 0:18.7 | and the success upon that is the planning that that's done |
| 0:23.1 | beforehand. So gardening is so near and dear to me of all the homesteading, pioneering type |

| 1:21.0 | So I'm really excited about that, actually. So that will come later. But I realize that not everybody |
| 1:26.9 | can do that. And so gardening is |
| 1:29.0 | something that pretty much anybody can do to some degree. If you don't have a lot of property, it is, |
| 1:34.6 | or a large yard, I should say, you don't actually have to have an massive property to garden. But if you |
| 1:38.3 | don't have a large yard or area that you can do a garden in, you can still, even if you live in an |
