Tonight's sleep story is Pinocchio by Carlo Collodi. Published in book form in 1883, Pinocchio or "the Adventures of Pinocchio" is one the best selling books ever. Adapted numerous times on TV and in films, the original Pinocchio character might be a little bit different from the Disney version you might remember. I recently saw the adaptation by Guillermo del Toro and was inspired to continue reading the original story on the podcast. In this episode, Pinocchio meets other puppets, almost gets burned, and, falls in with a fox and a cat.
