Hopefully you guys won't notice, but my apologies to Adam and Victoria and everybody else in our vast audio visual department.

I'm recording this late, by which I mean about 11 o'clock in the morning on Friday.

Last night on CNN, I was on duty to do commentary about two town halls.

That was from 11 to 1 in the morning.

And then I had to come home to two very cross dogs who did not like being left alone at night.

Did not like to break down a protocol.

My wife and daughter on the West Coast starting school, which is a whole other complicated thing. and

I'm going to school, which is a whole other complicated thing. And so they were home alone and they chastised me greatly and I took them out hoping they would let me sleep late.

But they really didn't.

And so I am, up. I'm grateful to CNN. I can't say I love doing TV these days. I don't I don't love the nature of the and I certainly would feel worse I think at MS NBC but maybe I've just gone

and grown addicted to the podcast format where you can actually have conversations

and let people complete a whole thought and just the nature of cable news, oh,

broadcast news too and even radio news just doesn't lend itself as much to that sort of thing.

And I really hate doing late night stuff because I'm going to wake up early no matter what and so now I just feel like I took a red eye so if I start speaking in tongues or if I get go down some incredible cul-de-sac on Metternick. I apologize in advance. I'm just over-tired and I got to write a G-file and then get back to

CNN because we're recording the Chris Wallace show and I just got off an hour long business call.
