This week I'm bringing you another true crime case that centers around people

associated with the modeling industry.

This time I'll share a story of a rising star who'd broken into the world of high-end modeling against all odds.

But another model, envious of his success, began a rivalry, which led to a violent showdown that no one saw coming.

This is the last chapter in the series Picture Perfect Murder, the case of Harry Uzoka. In any industry there is a simple truth. In terms of human resources, scarcity creates

opportunity. For instance, if a particular business struggles to recruit women as employees, maybe due to the nature

of the profession or the location of the job, a woman who recognizes that can capitalize and perhaps

get a more lucrative offer from a company that's desperate to hire women.

In the world of high-end fashion, the demand is flipped on its head.

Male fashion models with a certain look who fit a certain demographic could be highly sought after an incredibly well compensated.

A male model, particularly a young black man, physically fit with a Farel Williams kind of style and a face made

for GQ, could make a small fortune in the European fashion scene.

It was a fortunate turn of events that introduced Harry Uzoka to just such an opportunity in the world of fashion modeling and changed his life forever.

Tragically, in the case of Harry Uzoka, forever came too soon. The London Evening Standard reported on

January 16th 2018 two men were appearing in court today charged with the murder of

model Harry Yusoka who was stabbed to death in the street in Shepherds Bush.

Mr. Uzoka, 25, who had starred in campaigns for brands including Zara and Mercedes, was found collapsed on the pavement last
