You got to widen the lens. What does this home run mean?

And then a little baseball because I feel like I owe you guys. I haven't been dropping episodes as often and I did want to explain a little bit of why I do the five inning bets and there's a perfect game tonight to break it out.

You got Rockies and Brewers. Rockies are plus 105 at home against the brew crew. You got Kyle Freeland against Eric Lauer. Both lefties, here's the key.

Brewers dead last in OPS against left handed pitching. They do not hit lefties. So you could take the Rockies money line at plus 105. But here's why we talk five innings.

If you bet the five inning, you're not getting nearly as good odds. You got to flip that plus 105 to a minus 105. But here's why we do it.

We take the bullpen out of it. Brewers have a top five bullpen. Rockies have about a 10 bullpen.

And the ball sales at course. You got a reliever who comes in doesn't have his stuff leaves the ball up. We all pay for it.

So to me, it feels worth paying to flip it from a plus 105 to a minus 105. You do what you want. But I make this coin flip a little better for us.

Right. We wait the coin a little bit. We're going to emphasize the first five innings where we feel like we have the better pitching matchup and we take our lousy bullpen out of it.

76% of the public is betting on the brewers to win the game. So I think we are on the sharp side to begin with. And I just want to tilt it ever so slightly in my favor by taking the first five innings Rockies money line minus 105.

And then a final baseball note. This is for the brave. This is for the people who want to be bold. This is kind of how you have to bet baseball. If you're just going to go straight up, pick winners and losers, you got to bet dogs.

Let's look at the pirates. They're playing the race. Razer, a unit 24 and five on the year. They sent my clan of hand to the bump. He's their ace. He's a perfect five and oh, it's like, boy, do you want to bet against the raise.

You might just say, I don't want to play against the race in general, especially when it's my clan of hand. But that's why I say this is for those who are brave. The pirates are a pretty good baseball team this year.

2010, they hit lefties well. Actually hit lefties better than righties. And they're 14 and seven as a dog this season. So, hey, you overlook them.

They've been good in this spot. It would be bold because you got to go up against the best team and the best picture on the best team.

But at plus 190, I don't think picking your spots on this. Again, the raise, even if they're one of the greatest teams of all time, they're going to drop 60 games.

And the pirates aren't a slouch and they're sending Mitch Keller off a 10 strikeout game against the Dodgers. He pitched well. He's their best picture. He's their workhorse.

So you are going best on best. You're getting a team that hits lefties and you're getting them at plus 190. So I would put that out there for the people. That is only for the bold.
