My name is Ryan Halt, and this week I am joined by my co-host Joshua Flanagan. Hi, I'm not

gonna lie, it feels a little weird to have you call me your co-host. I know, I wrote it. I left it there.

I wrote it right now. That's correct, but whatever. And you were joining me here on iFamboi,

pick of the week, episode 890. Every week one of us picks the book they liked best from their

stack of comics and that book gets called The Pick of the Week. This week, Josh, I did something I've

never done, or today actually before recording, I did something I've never done before in my entire

life. I gave blood. Oh wow, I've never given blood before. Just on impulse, like it wasn't a

planned thing, it was spontaneous. Something I used to have a really big fear of needles as a kid,

and then I got over that, but then just never gotten a habit of like giving blood whenever

the blood drive came around, and I just decided a while back that it's something I should probably

do if I'm eligible to do it. I'll find out when they run all the tests and stuff, but um,

yeah, and the American Red Cross is headquartered here in DC, so I just like,

like down there, and uh, Gabe, did you have like an app and everything, you'd like, track,

you can like earn points. Did you consider that afterwards cycling around in the

August sun, having, having given up a leader of the good stuff? It was, it was a relatively cool day

here, and I did consider that, but again, parking, it's just not worth it. And apparently, I got,

I've known that I have good veins for a while now, easy, easy to hit, and I filled the bag in like

half the time that average, an average man would have, they said it usually takes 10 to 25 minutes

to fill a bag, and I filled it in five. So, so yeah, if you've never given blood before, you can
