It's time for another edition of Fighting for the Faith.

It's Wednesday, August 26, 2009. Oh man doing my post-production work trying to get the podcast up to

date. Did a little review of yesterday's program and I was on the phone with a good friend of mine,

Ken Silva, talking about Brian McLaren's song and it dawned on me. He wasn't singing that song to Allah or even the God of the Bible.

However, I figured out which God he was singing it to. And that God's mentioned in the Bible. More details here in a minute.

and I'm your servant in Jesus Christ, and this is the program that dishes up a daily dose of

biblical discernment the goal of which is to get you to think biblically to get you to

think critically and to compare what people are saying in the name of God to the word of God. These are dangerous

times spiritually for people, especially for Christians. It's to say that the many quarters of the of Christianity have fallen into

apostasy. Well that would be an understatement and it's not to be, how should we shouldn't be surprised by this because

Jesus Christ said that in the last days be sure that no one deceives you it's pretty straightforward don't let nobody

deceive you many people are going to make all kinds of outrageous statements

in fact some of them are even to claim to be Jesus Christ himself

and Jesus warned us that some of these charlatans will even be able to perform miracles.

So, uh, there will be false... will even be able to perform miracles.

So there will be false signs, false wonders,

all that kind of stuff.

So we shouldn't be surprised.

So how do you protect yourself from being deceived?

Who can you trust? Well the reality is

is that no human being should be trusted, including myself. Instead we are to trust
