hacker community my name is Joel Mark Witt and I'm Antonia Dodge and

Addison let's get right to our question today my partner and I are in my opinion and in most ways complete opposites

and I thought that's what initially attracted us to each other

so I recently asked him to take your test as a favor to me and he did and he's an INFJ. It took me days to get over this. I was pissed off. I was mad at your test. I was mad at him for obviously lying on the test and mad at myself for believing in this nonsense. It must be

nonsense. It wasn't telling me what I wanted to hear. A few days later I got over

myself, realized I'm probably in some cognitive dissonance or bias or something or on an unconscious level

I'm not feeling special anymore. I understand that this is how your brain works and not necessarily

how we act, but how can two people with the same personality type

have such different personalities how can I understand my partner's emotional

needs if he is a sensitive type who doesn't like to talk about feelings. I'm all let's talk

about problems with brutal honesty and he's all it's not healthy to talk about

feelings just get over it and move on and perhaps more importantly how on earth do we raise our two and a half year old son

to be mentally healthy in such an environment? What if he is also an INFJ?

Okay, so there's more than one question here. I really hope that it's not too broad. Any advice or information would truly be appreciated.

Yeah, so a couple things came up for me while we were well I was

listening to this question and the first is that no online assessment is

a hundred percent ever like it's never going to have a hundred percent

accuracy rate we just I mean I guess in the typology world we just kind of come to

accept that like we're never going to have an online test that is going to get a person's
