I'd like your insight on effective organizational management techniques for an E.N.

My boss, an attorney, is most likely an E.N.P.

I'm an I.N.JJ lock lurk at her firm. She is repeatedly asked me to organize her

workload, work environment, and schedule. I've attempted to implement TE-like solutions.

For example, I created a spreadsheet listing each to implement TE-like solutions.

corresponding deadline, along with a daily task to meet the deadline.

Although she seems pleased with the initial step of organization, she hasn't followed through or allowed me to follow through with completing tasks or meeting deadlines.

Instead, each day she finds in emergency situations and fires that I must help her deal with right now.

In reality, she creates most of these emergency situations.

For example, a random client will call with an interesting problem and she promises this client

documents by the end of the day even though she has no extra time to complete the request.

As a result I'm working extra hours to help her meet the deadline.

I don't mind the extra work, but I'll eventually get frustrated if I'm not able to plan my

evenings in advance.

I see how she finds energy, focus, and purpose in this heightened state of emergency and I want to find organizational techniques that capitalize on her strengths, although it may be difficult to tell from this letter, I love working with her.

I find her energy level refreshing and motivating.

She's a great tutor and overall great company.
