Hey, I'm Tom Graschim in the show is gun talk, as we talk about guns, and we talk about

a lot of other things too, but everything kind of related to guns and shooting and owning

guns and storing guns and reloading ammunition and finding ammunition, and guns for self-protection

and guns for recreation.

Millions upon millions of rounds of ammunition are fired, not every year, every day, every

day in America, millions of rounds of ammunition are fired.

Kind of interesting, don't you think, and since we're told the deal, the only reason

somebody would want to have a gun would be to shoot someone, and yet all those millions

of rounds are not shooting people, strange, not really, not really, because the primary

reason of people own guns is self-protection, and millions of times a year people do, in

fact, use guns for self-protection as documented by a number of different studies, many at

the university's level.

Yes, I said millions of times, millions of times a year people use guns successfully

in self-defense, and almost all the time they don't have to pull a trigger.

You know, one thing bad guys do is they do have a highly developed sense of self-preservation.

When you point a gun at them and say, go away, generally they will, in fact, go away.
