Her album Punisher came out to major critical acclaim.

NPR music named it their number four best album of the entire year.

Phoebe also snagged four Grammy nominations, including one for best new artist.

We are bringing Phoebe's interview with former host Sam Sanders back for you because her music,

the haunting, soothing acoustic guitar-filled tracks, got a lot of our team through that first year of the pandemic.

Phoebe and Sam talk about success and fame and whether you actually get to enjoy it.

And they'll unpack some of the songs and lyrics from Punisher.

I gotta say, I am excited about all of my interviews, but really nervous about them anymore, but I gotta admit,

I was a little nervous about this one because Phoebe, you have been literally the soundtrack to my 2020.
