Derek, I'm doing fine.

I'm ready to talk.

Well, not too much about the game, to be honest.

But we got some other stuff to talk about as we wait for Madison Square Garden and the Knicks

and the Bulls to kind of show us what this playoff bracket is going to officially look like.

The Sixers did end up winning their game against the Brooklyn Nets, won it pretty easily

led by 15 for most of the fourth quarter, even without the services of Joel and Bede. But they didn't get the help they needed to avoid the play in

tournament. The Pacers and the magic both beat the really needed some help from Doc Rivers there.

That would have helped a lot. They didn't get the help they needed. Wait a minute. Doc Rivers is

letting the Sixers down. Doc Rivers is letting the sixers down at the end of the season once again. But because both Orlando and the Pacers won as well, it comes out to that three team tie that we talked about for the last couple of days where Orlando wins that tiebreaker. They get the fifth seed. Pacers beat the tiebreaker over the Sixers because they won two out of three, putting Indy in the six seed, and then the Sixers fall back to seven. They needed one of those two teams to lose. It didn't happen. So here we are. We are still waiting on the results of the Bulls and Nix. Rich and I are actually both streaming it right now, so if we're a little bit distracted, that is why. If Chicago wins, the net will lock Milwaukee in as a two seed.

The next is a three seed and the Cavs as the four seed. If the Knicks win, then it will be the Nix 2, Milwaukee 3 and Cleveland 4. So all this is saying is the Sixers will play the Miami Heat and the 7-8 playing game on Wednesday that will be in Philadelphia.

If the Sixers win that game, they will play, again, it depends on whether or not the Knicks win this game. If the Knicks do win this game, they will play the Knicks in the first-round playoff series to verse 7. If the Knicks lose this game, they will play the Bucks in the first-round playoff series so we will see and of course if they then lose the play in game against the heat

they have to play the Bucks in the first round playoff series. So we will see. And of course, if they then lose the play in game against the heat, they have to play a play in game against the winner of Hawks Bulls. And if they win that, they get the Celtics in the first round. And that would be a borderline disaster, not because you expect them to lose two in a row, the second one being against the Hawks or the Bulls, but because you would have to

play a real tough Boston team that has been the best team in the league all year.
