Travis Konency led the way on Thursday night, putting on a show in the first period by recording a goal, an assist, and a fight for the Gordie How Hat Trick en route to Phill’s 2nd straight victory against a Playoff-bound team out of the All-Star break. After the first period, Ryan Poehling scored a shorthanded goal to put the Flyers up 4-0, and from there it was the Sam Ersson show. Ersson put up a 35-save shutout against the Jets back on January 13th, and followed it up with another strong performance, as Winnipeg took over in the 2nd period, outshooting Philly 15-3 in the middle frame.
