Philadelphia's number one hockey beat reporter. It's Charlie O'Connor. Charlie, how are you this afternoon?

Just came from Vorhees.

I can tell you're in your standard fleece practice uniform.

See, you have to, when you're going to practice, you have to dress nice enough that people

aren't going to look at you, like, what the hell are you you wearing but also not so nice that it's uncomfortable because there's no you gotta wear a suit to every game yeah like i'm not gonna yeah

like when i first was on the beat i thought to myself i got to show up in a polo for every practice i got to look nice

maybe have dress shoes on and then after about a year of doing that and realizing that no one else did that and everybody

else just wore pretty nice, casual stuff, I was like, all right, I'm done.

I'm being more comfortable.

But I also didn't want to look like a slub.

So I figured the Columbia fleece is like a good middle ground.

So I have like a group of like two or three that I just cycle through throughout the course of the week.

Yet another reason the one with the journalism degree in this room cannot be a journalist.
