Woo! For a one-nothing shutout victory, flyers over Red Wings tonight down in South Philly.

Charlie O'Connor will be joining the show from the Wells Fargo Center a little later

on tonight. But first, we have to talk about what was, I mean, the first 40 minutes of this game

were not exactly the most exciting hockey I've ever watched. I don't think anyone would confuse it with that.

But the Flyers played pretty well tonight.

Again, they just keep finding ways to win.

I wrote down since they opened the Wells Fargo Center.

Now, obviously, this doesn't include the postseason.

But I know the Flyers have had, like, a lot of success in Philly against the Red Wings since they opened a new building, what, 96?

And now I'm trying to find where I, where I wrote it tonight.

They are, they came into the game. Damn it. I've lost it already.

I really should have like played this out. They've only won three times Detroit has in Philly

since they've opened the building. Now that's in the regular season. They did not add to that

tonight. That's just kind of one of those weird things like Detroit has been a good relevant team for pretty much all

of that time. Now obviously, you know, they swept Philly in the final in 97. So like I guess you

can add two wins to that if you want to. I'm choosing to only look at the regular season. It's just

one of those weird things that you get like oh, yeah, Detroit, pretty good team.

Every time they come into the, into Philly, Philly beats them.
